Player of the Week

Player of the Week Kurt Warner scored 15 points on Sunday and led the PIK Acres to a 58-32 win over the Ons and a 58-25 shellacking of the Young Guns. The 58 points scored was the highest point total for any team in Week 2 After the game, when Warner was asked about the victories, he replied, "I don't care what Coach Hubris says. We're number ONE!"

PIK Acre head coach officially had no comment, but could be heard mumbling, "No, we suck. Really, we suck" as he left the field.

You know what. I enjoy it as much as anyone else when my team does well. It is fun to score the most points in any given week. With any luck at all we've found a good combination. I'll take it. At this point, two teams are 3-0 and they remain the teams to beat. In this league you make the playoffs based on total wins not how many points you scored in a good week.

Kudos to the three players who scored 20 or more points this week. Jay Cutler who led all scorers with 21 points. Brian Westbrook and Anquan Boldin who each scored 20. Anytime you are at or over 20 in our league you had a might fine week.
